CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The Hope Institute of Delaware will issue a Certificate of Completion to the student after successfully completing the Real Estate Pre-Licensing Course. The certificate entitles the student to take the State licensing exam. (Applicants have 1 full year after receiving their certificate to take the exam. Applicants are encouraged to take the exam soon after receiving their certificate.)
PLEASE NOTE: The Delaware Real Estate Commission will not issue a license to an applicant who has been convicted of felony, fraud, drug addiction, or has been professionally penalized (recently, for updates on charges as such, please refer to the commission.

ABOUT THE PRE-LICENSING COURSE
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To prepare the student to successfully complete the Delaware Real Estate Exam administered by Pearson VUE. To see the content outline visit Pearson VUE
To provide the student with the knowledge that is necessary to become a professional asset to the Real Estate Community as a Delaware Real Estate Agent.
To educate the student to be reasonably current in real estate knowledge and have improved ability to provide greater protection and service to the real estate consumer, thereby supporting the Delaware Real Estate Commission's primary objective of protection of the public.
COURSE BREAKDOWN
Orientation - 3 hours
Real Estate Sales - 36 hours
Real Estate Law - 33 hours
Real Estate Math - 24 hours
Course Review - 3 hours
Other Important Information: The first night of the course is Orientation. An optional math pre-test will be given. A score of 80% or better is needed to test out of the math section of the class. This is the only night this test will be offered. Textbooks will be given to students at Orientation. Successful completion of the course and the exams will satisfy the educational requirements of the Delaware Real Estate Commission. The class consists of three sections: Real Estate Math, Real Estate Law, and Real Estate Sales; each section is taught by separate instructors on alternating evenings.
Attendance
A student may miss four sessions, but not more than two sessions in any one subject area (ie. Sales, Law, or Math) and still successfully complete the course.

REFUND POLICY
The tuition refund will be based on the Delaware Code for Private Business or Trade Schools for all cancellation notices received after the course start date. $100.00 of the registration fee is non-refundable, but may be credited to your next class.
